This is a topic that will have plenty of room to talk. What I mean by that is, you should have a pretty good chunk of sources that will help you answer your questions. Although you could probably try to find some "other aspect" of looking at it since feminism is a popular topic in society. Other than that it is a solid topic that seems interesting to me.
ReplyDeleteThis is an interesting article and I'm curious to see what your research discovers. You bring up a lot of great questions, although you seem just as interested in the psychology behind many of the decisions in hollywood movies to cast males or females over the other and the reasons behind those choices as you do in feminism actually affecting the film. To me feminism feels more like a social topic while many of your questions feel psychological in nature, the why behind hollywood's choices. I'm interested to see how your blog evolves over time.
ReplyDeleteI'm absolutely in love with your topic. I didn't see if you had mentioned this but something great for you to explore would be the Bechdel Test. It's one of my favorite things relating to modern film. Good luck with this! I like how your questions branch off to both generic film and generic feminism.
